Youth Volunteering

Whether it’s protecting the environment, improving mental health, combating racism, supporting the vulnerable in your community or something completely different, you can make a huge difference. There are lots of ways you can take action.

By taking action you will not only benefit your community, you will also gain skills and experience that will help you to achieve great things at school, in further education and in your employability when you look for a job.

In this section you will find information on how you can get involved. So don’t sit back and wait for change to happen – make change happen now.

Ceredigion Youth Led Grant

The Ceredigion Youth-led grant supports activities led and carried out by young people. The fund helps to empower young people to develop their own initiatives, take an active role in their communities and involve/recruit young people to take part in youth-led volunteering projects and activities in the county of Ceredigion. The grant is administered by CAVO on behalf of WCVA and the Welsh Government.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to support volunteering or set up a volunteering activity. Applications are selected and recommended by a panel of young people aged 14-25. Applications will need to consider how their project will fit into the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (2015).
