The Community Support and Development Service

A small, skilled team of Community Connectors, and Resource Officers who can offer information, advice and assistance to people of all ages and to other professionals, focusing on community based support and peoples well-being.

Anyone can refer to us, there is no criteria to accessing our services.

The Community Connectors work with individuals, groups and businesses in our communities all across the county aiming to:

  • Map community assets
  • Fill gaps where there is unmet need
  • Connect people across Ceredigion to services and activities that they might enjoy and find useful

The service starts with your Community Connector working with you and talking about what matters to you. They can help you identify and connect with a wide range of services including:

  • Help and support to remain living independently in your own home
  • Finding childcare
  • Financial help
  • Socialising and joining groups in your community
  • Help and support for Carers
