Ceredigion Association of Voluntary Organisations

CAVO promotes, supports and empowers voluntary community action in Ceredigion.

Since 1997, the CAVO Team have promoted and supported volunteers and voluntary community action in Ceredigion – from finding volunteers their perfect role to giving grants for community projects, the CAVO Team are here to help.

As Ceredigion’s County Voluntary Council and a Third Sector Support Wales partner, CAVO work across the following four key pillars of activity in supporting the third sector and volunteers, and in our work with key statutory partners;

We can support you to develop your group and projects and help you recruit new volunteers.  We’ll also keep you informed of what’s happening in Ceredigion and beyond!

Volunteering Wales is a national website that seeks to co-ordinate volunteer opportunities. It is run by Third Sector Support Wales. The database is accessible by anyone looking to volunteer – just register for free to access the opportunities.

Everyone can volunteer. Your age, background and previous experience don’t matter – there is an opportunity out there to suit you, so keep checking!

Third Sector Support Wales

(TSSW) is a network of support organisations for the whole of the third sector in Wales.  It consists of the 19 local and regional support bodies across Wales, the County Voluntary Councils (CVCs) and the national support body, Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA).

Whether you’re new to the third sector or want to take your skills to the next level, their free Knowledge Hub resources are designed to help you stay informed, improve your knowledge and connect with others.

Knowledge Hub is a place where you can learn and connect with others just like you across the third sector, providing a range of digital information and learning resources to help you:
