The purpose of the fund is to overcome barriers to volunteering, enabling young people (14-25yrs) to access volunteering. This could be for young carers, young parents, transport challenges, language barriers or disability support, to name a few!
There is only a small amount of available funding for supporting individual young volunteers or small groups of young people to volunteer. We are looking for applications up to £200 but will consider larger amounts.
Applications must:
- Overcome a barrier for a young person to volunteer
- Involve at least one adult for accountability (this can be staff or a volunteer at the young person's organisation / place of volunteering).
- Take place within Ceredigion or be for a young volunteer from Ceredigion
- The organisation must have a volunteering policy / guidelines.
Timeline:
- Opens: 4/6/2026
- Rolling programme until funds allocated
- Decisions notified within 2 weeks of application
- Funding to be spent by 30/12/2027
