Dysgu Bro - Trailblazer Programme
Dysgu Bro Ceredigion, through funding from the Ceredigion Trailblazer Programme, is pleased to offer local organisations, charities and community groups the opportunity to access free support aimed at improving wellbeing, employability and reducing the impact of poverty within our communities.
Free Heart Start First Aid Training
We are currently offering free 3-hour Heart Start First Aid sessions which cover essential life-saving skills, including:
- CPR and using a defibrillator
- Dealing with choking incidents
- Managing unconscious casualties
- Responding to common medical emergencies
- Basic first aid techniques
These sessions can be delivered within your organisation or community group and are suitable for staff, volunteers and community members.
Funding for Community Activities
We are also looking to support organisations that can organise and deliver community activities or events that help to:
- Improve health and wellbeing
- Support employability and skills development
- Reduce social isolation
- Address poverty and financial hardship
- Encourage community participation and engagement
Funding is available through the Trailblazer Programme to support suitable activities. We are particularly interested in working with organisations that already have strong links within their communities and can coordinate and run activities that engage local residents.
