There's some exciting news regarding Volunteers’ Week 2026, which takes place from 1st – 7th June.
To mark the occasion, CAVO has a dedicated pot of funding to share with five local organisations to help host "Volunteer Thank You" events. We want to help you celebrate the incredible impact your volunteers have on our community.
Funding Options
We are offering two levels of financial support depending on the type of event you would like to host:
- £150 Grant: To host an event specifically for your volunteers.
- £300 Grant: To host a larger collaborative event where you invite volunteers from five other local voluntary organisations to join the celebration.
Event Ideas
The money can be used for almost any kind of social gathering. We are completely open to your creative ideas. To give you some inspiration, last year’s successful events included:
- Wine and cheese evenings
- Traditional afternoon teas
