Support for Unpaid Carers
Our work is about supporting (unpaid) Carers . A Carer is anyone who looks after a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. Juggling caring responsibilities with employment / study / school can be challenging, yet it is hugely important and we want Carers of all ages to get the most out of life. Volunteers play a crucial role in achieving this mission.
We do not create Volunteer job roles but rather are curious about people's interests, talents and experience to create opportunities for Volunteers to support Carers using their skills and motivations.
A monthly meetup for parent carers of children with Pathological Demand Avoidance or similar (diagnosed or undiagnosed).
