Community-led activities to help people keep active, improve mental health, keep socially connected, eat healthily and challenge the brain, which can help reduce the risk of developing conditions such as Dementia.
Examples of these could include walking groups, craft for wellbeing, interest groups (gardening, music, singing, etc.) yoga, pilates, gardening, cooking or similar activities. Projects can involve through age health and welbbeing, leading to more positive health outcomes later in life.
Applications from £500 up.
For £5000 or more, please contact us before submitting your application. Any applications of £5,000 or more without a CAVO contact will be rejected!
Funding will be 70% of project costs with 30% match funding (can be in kind or cash).
Payment for succesful applications will be 75% up front, 25% on completion of monitoring. If the payment conditions are challenging, please contact us to discuss further.
