Mae Cors Fochno yn enghraifft brin o gyforgors tir isel ac mae ganddo rôl bwysig iawn i’w chwarae wrth storio carbon o’r atmosffer a helpu yn y frwydr yn erbyn newid hinsawdd.

Cyfarfod yn Cletwr am 9.30yb i drefnu rhannu car i’r rhai sy’n gallu, a gyrru 5 munud i Gors Fochno i barcio. Cerdded o 10yb tan 11.30yb gydag arosiadau ar gyfer straeon. 11.30yb – Dychwelyd i’r maes parcio ar gyfer gweithgareddau crefft a lluniaeth. 12 canol dydd –
dychwelyd i Cletwr.
Mae’r daith tua 2k ac mae ar lwybrau pren a llwybrau gwastad. Yn addas ar gyfer teuluoedd gyda phlant 8 oed a throsodd.

BogFest at Cors Fochno
Storywalk and Craft Activities for All
Join us for a 2k walk around Cors Fochno – part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, in the company of storyteller Peter Stevenson, Justin Lyons – Natural Resources Wales Reserve Manager and LIFE Welsh Raised Bogs Team.
Cors Fochno is a rare example of a lowland raised bog and has a very important role to play in storing carbon from the atmosphere and helping in the fight against climate change.
Morning session
Meet at Cletwr at 9.30am
to arrange car-share for those that are able to, and drive 5 minutes to Cors Fochno to park. Walking from 10am to 11.30am with halts for stories. 11.30am – Return to parking area for craft activities and refreshments. 12noon – return to Cletwr.
The walk is about 2 kilometre and is on boardwalks and flat paths. Suitable for families with children of 8 years plus.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather. Toilet facilities are available on site.
