Severn Wye is a registered charity providing free, practical energy support to individuals and households across Ceredigion. Our mission is to help people reduce their energy bills, manage energy debt, and stay warm and safe in their homes.
We work closely with Citizens Advice teams in Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, where our services complement each other and lead to effective cross-referrals. We’re now extending this collaborative approach to Ceredigion, aiming to build strong local partnerships that ensure no one falls through the cracks.
Our services include:
- Tailored energy-saving advice through home visits
- Help communicating with energy suppliers
- Support with trust fund and fuel voucher applications
- Smart meter guidance and appointments
- Priority Services Register sign-ups
- Carbon monoxide safety awareness

A key strength of our service is our ability to visit clients in their homes, offering personalised, face-to-face support that many find more accessible and reassuring.
We also offer drop-in sessions, staff briefings, and appointment-based support through partner organisations.
