Penglais Community Garden is a community growing project based on Aberystwyth University campus, near the Arts Centre. It is open for anyone to enjoy, whether staff, students or the public, and we also run volunteer gardening sessions.
Our objective is to create a space for people to grow, to learn about growing food, planting in a wildlife friendly manner, and to provide a quiet space for people visiting the university and Arts Centre to just sit and enjoy their lunch!
It is run as something for anyone with an interest in gardening and growing from the Aberystwyth area to get involved with. We produce a bumper harvest each year which is shared between the volunteers.
It is part of the Tyfu Dyfi project, linked to other sites in the Dyfi Biosphere.
