Penparcau Pebble Snake
Johanna Taylor
My son was missing his friends as we went into lock down, we were spending a lot of time at home and I too had to work from home. We like going for walks, and we paint stones so we decided to make something that the local children could keep adding to, hopefully bringing a smile to people’s faces.
We decided on the covid-19 snake, my daughter painted the head and we painted between us about 8 more stones. To date other people have added probably 20 plus. It has been a great talking point and I am in talks with the Penparcau Community Hwb to maybe concrete the snake into the ground as a reminder for the future as this is a time we don’t want to forget.
