Individual Approach
I approach each person and their loved ones as individuals, with an emphasis on developing a connection through creativity and in being supportive to those in a caring role.
Customised Care
For the cared for person, this may include stories, storytelling and life story work, interactions with animals, and time spent in nature.
Carer Respite
For the carer, this may mean a listening ear, signposting to other services, and of course, respite time.
What I Offer
I offer highly individualised respite day care within the client’s own home, with a focus on enrichment activities, to improve quality of life and wellbeing.

"I am Claire, I am a community and dementia specialist nurse based on the borders of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Carmarthenshire. I have worked in general adult nursing, dementia care and palliative care, all in a community setting since I qualified in 2013 from the University of Brighton. I have a passion for delivering care and support to people within their own homes and believe that person centered care should be at the heart of all nursing practice. I began my nursing career in Sussex, before moving to Kent, and in 2018 to Wales.
Wildflowers brings together my passions, experience and skills in a unique service that allows me to truly connect with the client, their loved ones, and to deliver gold standard care and support for both the cared for person, and their carers.
My daughter and I live in a little stone cottage with our 3 dogs, and we have ponies nearby. I enjoy reading, writing, walking, sea swimming, and spending time with our animals and our loved ones."
