Growing a Greener Future for Wales
What is AnTIr? Part of Tir Coed, AnTir is a learning, health and regeneration project engaging people in Land (Tir) and Woodlands (Coed). Providing practical skills for regenerative land practices, food growing and resilience, plus accredited learning, mentoring and support to progress into outdoor/green jobs or volunteering, awareness of the natural world and improved wellbeing. Tackling health and wealth inequalities at the same time as building personal and community resilience and improving habitats and outdoor spaces for communities.
Who is it for? AnTir will target unemployed, underemployed and disadvantaged people, via partnerships with a very wide range of referral agencies, enabling them to progress closer towards community or economic engagement. Bringing benefits to communities.
Initially we are working with with communities in Ceredigion, before exapanding the project to include Carmarthenshire, Powys and Pembrokeshire.
