Communities Count

This is a unique opportunity for community groups and social enterprises active in Ceredigion to receive financial support to organise activities to improve numeracy skills within their community.

The Communities Count will support projects that develop numeracy skills and confidence in individuals through community activities.in Ceredigion.  Activities must involve adults aged 19 and over and those who do not have a maths level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent), but activities can be open to all.

A few examples of what could be possible through the Communities Count Scheme.

  • Budgeting and money management workshops
  • Cooking on a budget sessions
  • Community gardening courses
  • Board games and cards evenings
  • Fitness activities
