Learn how to make a Zarzo basket, this basket is based on a Spanish tray design used to drain cheese, Danish basket maker Ulla Misser adapted the design to make deeper baskets in different shapes which are both striking and popular . In this workshop you will be taught this special technique to create a rectangular Zarzo basket .
A days course suitable for beginners and others
The days course will start at 9.30am so please arrive on time so we have enough time to complete the work. We will finish at 4.30pm
We will be stopping for lunch around 12.30pm
Tea coffee and a cake will be made available, please bring your own lunch
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear as willow can be unwieldy and some of the tools used are sharp.
The loan of tools required will be provided on the day
