Pantri Aber meets in the cafe area of the Morlan Centre at the end of Queen's Road in Aberystwyth (SY23 2HH) every Friday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. We offer a free hot drink or cold squash, biscuits, fresh fruit and a friendly chat. There are colouring pages and crayons or felt-tip pens available and several games to play.
We are in the process of starting up a food pantry, which we hope will be running by August/September 2026. The pantry is for local people on a low income who would like their food budget to go further. People who want to become members will be able to come, register for Pantri Aber, pay £5 a week and then choose 10 items from the shelves, fridge and freezer, which will be worth at least £10. Fresh fruit and vegetables will also be available. Pantry members will also be able to apply to become volunteers and help run the pantry.
