Jubilee Storehouse food bank is based at St. Anne's Church in Penparcau (SY23 1RY). People in food crisis can ask for a food pack through their support agency. If they don't yet have a support agency, they can self-refer up to three times every two weeks and then they need to be referred by an agency, which will offer ongoing help. If people request a food pack once a month or less often, they can continue to self-refer. Demand for the food bank has increased considerably over the last couple of years so we now offer fortnightly food packs. We can also provide some toiletries, nappies and wipes for babies and toddlers and cat and dog food for pets.
Support agencies and individuals can order a food pack by phoning 0800 242 5844 from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday and collect food packs from the food bank from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Other ways of requesting a food pack include texting Jubilee Storehouse on Facebook Messenger or using our online form.
The food bank is run by an enthusiastic team of local volunteers. Donations of food and money by generous members of the local community keep the food bank running. More details of how to support the food bank can be found on our website.
