This workshop will look at the various social media platforms that can be used to promote yourself, your organisation, club or event. There will be an introduction to using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. We don’t always require exposure on all platforms but hopefully by the end of this workshop you will better understand which one(s) will suit your needs.

We will also look at time-saving methods that can optimise your use of all platforms, such as preparing posts in advance and duplicating them across platforms.

What will the event cover?

This workshop will look at:

The main social media platforms
Have you thought about how often you should post online?
Have you thought about what time of day is best? Is using social media free? What content should I be posting?
These questions and more will give you the perfect kick-start or boost your current social media journey.
